Faliantology

Faileontology follows Jacques and Albert, two vey different people trapped together in a strange sub-basement of reality, charged with running dull maintenance and administration tasks for the entirety of existence. But they have a plan; Jacques has created a machine which he claims will creat an escape route for them. All he has to do is make it work. But in order to do so they must both face their fears and insecurities, and their strange relationship with one another; something which they may not survive.

In the second part of his story of the life of George Borrow, historian Ivan Bunn will take a close at Borrow's life and times after he left East Anglia to live in London. He remained there for twelve years eventually returning to Oulton where he lived a semi-reclusive life until his death in 1881. Full of loacal detail Ivans's illustrated talk will also look at the effect Borrow's death had on the early landscape of present day Oulton Broad after his estate was sold.

Saved by Our Community

It's been a long road since the Seagull Theatre's closure, prompting an impassioned response from the public.

A campaign was begun in earnest to save the Seagull Theatre, known as the SOS (Save Our Seagull) campaign. Although the journey's not over yet, it's worth remembering how it all began.
