ONE BANK. THREE GUYS. SOME MONEY. NO WORDS.
The plan was simple. Find bank. Rob bank. Flee bank.
A classic silent comedy infused with modern gusto, Criminy follows the exploits of three down-on-their luck stooges who band together to pull off the perfect heist.
Following a successful 2011 summer tour, Awkward Cough make their Seagull Theatre debut with their unique brand of silent comedy. Irreverent, frenetic and hilarious, this is slapstick for the twenty-first century.
"Many hysterical moments of pure comedic genius...make no mistake, this is a young company with real talent and theatrical vision" *** - Fringe Review

Samuel Morton Peto, often referred to as the "Maker of Modern Lowestoft", was one of the outstanding civil engineering contractors at the centre of the Victorian world-wide British contracting business. He was a colourful and at times controversial figure who is still looked up to in Lowestoft. In this, the fourth in his series of fascinating talks, historian Ivan Bunn will will look at the man, his work, his achievements and faults. He will examine both his public and personal life, his achievements in Lowestoft, across the country and the world-. Samuel Morton Peto will perhaps be seen in a way that many have never seen him before.

Saved by Our Community
It's been a long road since the Seagull Theatre's closure, prompting an impassioned response from the public.
A campaign was begun in earnest to save the Seagull Theatre, known as the SOS (Save Our Seagull) campaign. Although the journey's not over yet, it's worth remembering how it all began.
