The Seagull Club present – Self Catering

When a passenger plane crashes onto a remote, tropical island the only survivors are five strangers. With little hope of rescue, they must learn to build shelter, share supplies and deal with their carnal instincts. They soon adopt the names of their favorite film stars. Henry Fonda is a pitiful film geek, Bette Davis is foul mouthed, Marilyn Monroe has easy virtue, Meryl Streep is still unconscious and Clint Eastwood has found a gun. Self Catering is a dark comedy of love and survival. The perfect antidote to Christmas.

It's been a long road since the Seagull Theatre's closure, prompting an impassioned response from the public. A campaign was begun in earnest to save the Seagull Theatre, known as the SOS (Save Our Seagull) campaign. Although the journey's not over yet, it's worth remembering how it all began.
