Matthew Fox

October 10

| £5

‘Matthew Fox is a guitarist and songwriter whose Southern roots run deep. Performances showcase his acclaimed Americana songwriting as well as traditional Blues. Matthew has appeared on stages, radio programs and at workshops throughout the US, British Isles and Scandinavia and is touring the UK again in support of his 2017 release, “That Crooked Stage”.’

“Matthew is so facile with the guitar, with such an easy-going stage presence, that you don’t really care what his left and right hand are doing (as a guitarist watching another), you are only being carried off to where he is taking you.”

— John Bauman, Acoustic Guitar magazine’s “Guitar Talk”

It's been a long road since the Seagull Theatre's closure, prompting an impassioned response from the public. A campaign was begun in earnest to save the Seagull Theatre, known as the SOS (Save Our Seagull) campaign. Although the journey's not over yet, it's worth remembering how it all began.
