Mattie & Mimi’s Music Class

Classes cost £4.50 per session, which can be paid half termly.
For Pre School Children aged 6 months – 4 years
We use puppets, balls, actions, musical instruments and bubbles to keep the children’s attention in a funny and relaxed style.

Knit ‘n’ Knatter

Every Thursday in our lovely foyer, from 10am. Come along and make friends, bring your knitting and stay for a chat. The bar is open for teas/coffees, pop in for 30 minutes or stay for two hours.

Lowestoft Theatretrain

Saturdays 2.30 pm – 5.30 pm
Professional training in the Performing Arts for young people aged 6 – 18 years.Classes include acting, singing and dancing. All our students perform in local and national shows including the London Palladium and the Royal Albert Hall.

Seagull Community Choir

Sunday 7pm
Price: £2 per session
All you need to have to join the choir is a love of singing. For all levels of skill and experience, the choir have performed in the “S” Factor competition in addition to appearing in the Paul Phoenix ‘Elvis, What If?’ and ‘Elvis and Friends Christmas Show’ and go for all kinds of music from pop to soul!
Meetings occur every Sunday between 7 & 8.30 pm.

Sea Shanties & Songs Of The Sea Music Session

Alternate Tuesdays, 7.30-9 pm,

Lowestoft Men Shed

We are delighted to have launched a Men Shed in our sister building (The Hut on Stradbroke Road) and currently this runs every Wednesday 9am – 4pm and Saturdays 9am – 1pm. You can email lowestoftmenshed@gmail.com for more information or just turn up at one of the sessions. Activities may include, woodwork, tea drinking, metal work, bacon butties, tool mending, more tea drinking…..

It's been a long road since the Seagull Theatre's closure, prompting an impassioned response from the public. A campaign was begun in earnest to save the Seagull Theatre, known as the SOS (Save Our Seagull) campaign. Although the journey's not over yet, it's worth remembering how it all began.
